About the position

As an Operations Analyst in our Digital Modernization and Experience Group, you will play a crucial role in supporting division leadership and corporate business services by providing essential business analytics and reporting for risk analysis and decision-making. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that project teams have the necessary tools and resources to effectively deliver results for our clients while identifying and tracking project risks. Operating within an agile environment, you will utilize your analytical and problem-solving skills, leveraging both existing ICF tools and new technology platforms to streamline division operations. In this role, you will develop and update regular tracking and forecasting reports for the Division Leader, Finance Business Manager, and Operations Leader, assisting them in managing business operations effectively. You will work closely with various technical and non-technical stakeholders to understand complex business processes and define business requirements. Additionally, you will support Project Managers and Project Finance Controllers by identifying and tracking project risks, assessing operational requirements, and identifying opportunities for improvement. Your analytical skills will be put to the test as you analyze data, create reports, and recommend changes to optimize processes. Collaboration with cross-functional teams will be essential, as you coordinate with the business, corporate IT, and other back-office support teams to enhance portfolio performance tracking and resource management. This position requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to delivering excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and update regular tracking and forecasting reports for the Division Leader, Finance Business Manager, and Operations Leader.
  • Work closely with various technical and non-technical stakeholders to understand complex business processes and define business requirements.
  • Support Project Managers and the Project Finance Controllers by identifying and tracking project risk.
  • Assess operational requirements and opportunities for improvement.
  • Analyze data, create reports, and recommend changes.
  • Optimize processes and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Coordinate with the business, corporate IT, and other back office support teams to improve portfolio performance tracking and resource management.

Requirements

  • 5 or more years of experience working directly with clients and subject matter experts in a consulting role, particularly focused on technology implementation.
  • 2 or more years of experience providing financial reporting and analysis.
  • 1 or more years demonstrated intermediate to advanced skills with Microsoft Excel formulas and data manipulation.

  • Experience and background working with corporate-level support in operations.
  • Familiarity with the software development process and life cycle.
