About the position

As an Operations Analyst within PNC's Retail Bank Operations Statement Rendering organization, you will play a critical role in the success of PNC by driving essential behind-the-scenes functions for various lines of business. This position is primarily based in Pittsburgh, PA, and requires regular time in the office or in the field. Your responsibilities will include managing the cash needs of our branch and ATM networks, protecting the bank from potential fraud, and identifying ways to continually improve our processes. In this role, you will execute routine and complex transactions and processes utilizing standard procedures. You may have specific responsibility for one or multiple specialized products or functional areas. Your tasks will involve processing and reconciling transactions of varying risk and financial value in accordance with established policies and procedures. You will identify and address exceptions, resolve escalated items, and partner internally with service partners to route calls, documents, or other action items to complete transactions. Additionally, you will ensure that the appropriate materials, documentation, and capacity are available to complete transactions, confirming that equipment is operational when applicable. You will also provide responses and documentation to inquiries and ad hoc requests for specialized products, offer feedback on workflow, and may participate in process improvement projects. Training and onboarding of new hires may also be part of your responsibilities. Your role will require you to review transactions and related documents to ensure completeness, accuracy, and compliance with established service levels and policies. You will monitor quality and participate in risk mitigation activities, all while maintaining a customer-focused approach and managing risks associated with business objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in and serve as a subject matter resource for process improvement projects.

  • Review transactions and related documents to ensure completeness, accuracy, and compliance with established service levels and policies.
  • Monitor quality and participate in risk mitigation activities.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Experience in operations or related field preferred.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in processing transactions.
  • Knowledge of standard operating procedures (SOP) and compliance requirements.
