About the position

As an Operations Analyst within the Retail Bank Operations team at PNC, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth functioning of essential behind-the-scenes operations that support various lines of business. This position is based in Cleveland, OH, and primarily requires in-office presence. You will be responsible for managing the cash needs of our branch and ATM networks, protecting the bank from potential fraud, and identifying opportunities for process improvement. Your contributions will be vital in delivering the best experience for our customers, as PNC values its employees as its greatest differentiator and competitive advantage. In this role, you will update and maintain training materials and procedures, assisting in the training and development of team members. You will have specific responsibilities for one or more specialized products or functional areas, ensuring compliance with Federal Regulations CC, J, and UCC guidelines. Your ability to execute complex transactions and processes while adhering to established policies and procedures will be essential. You will also conduct extensive research to resolve monetary exceptions within stringent time constraints, utilizing your communication skills to interact with various stakeholders, including corporate and consumer customers and external financial institutions. Your role will involve supporting key business initiatives by identifying sanctions risks and providing resolutions to manage these risks. You will execute routine and complex transactions, process and reconcile them according to established policies, and address exceptions as they arise. Additionally, you may participate in process improvement projects and assist in the onboarding and training of new hires, ensuring that all transactions are completed accurately and in compliance with service levels and policies.

Responsibilities

  • Update and maintain training materials and procedures.
  • Assist in the training and development of team members.
  • Follow standards and practices to mitigate loss and other risk exposures.
  • Execute complex transactions/processes in compliance with Federal Regulations CC, J, and UCC guidelines.
  • Complete extensive and complex research to resolve monetary exceptions within stringent time constraints.
  • Communicate effectively with all markets within the corporation and external financial institutions to resolve exceptions.
  • Support key business initiatives by identifying sanctions risks and providing resolutions.
  • Process and reconcile routine and complex transactions of varying risk and financial value in accordance with established policies and procedures.
  • Identify and address exceptions and resolve escalated items as necessary.
  • Participate in and serve as a subject matter resource for process improvement projects.
