About the position

As an Operations Analyst within the Retail Bank Operations team at PNC, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth functioning of various behind-the-scenes operations that are essential to the success of the bank. This position is based in Cleveland, OH, and involves regular interaction with both internal teams and external financial institutions. Your primary responsibilities will include managing the cash needs of the branch and ATM networks, protecting the bank from potential fraud, and identifying opportunities for process improvement. You will be part of a team that is dedicated to delivering the best experience for customers while fostering an inclusive workplace culture where all employees feel respected and valued. In this role, you will be responsible for updating and maintaining training materials and procedures, assisting in the training and development of team members, and managing specific specialized products or functional areas. You will follow established standards and practices to mitigate loss and other risk exposures, sharing best practices among the team and service partners. Your work will involve executing complex transactions and processes in compliance with Federal Regulations CC, J, and UCC guidelines, ensuring that all operations adhere to standard bank procedures. You will also conduct extensive research to resolve monetary exceptions within stringent time constraints, utilizing your communication skills to interact with various markets within the corporation, corporate and consumer PNC customers, and external financial institutions. Your ability to prioritize workflow and meet federal regulation deadlines will be crucial in supporting key business initiatives, particularly in identifying and managing Sanctions risks. Overall, your contributions will be vital in maintaining the integrity and efficiency of PNC's Retail Bank Operations.

Responsibilities

  • Updates and maintains training materials and procedures.
  • Assists in the training and development of team members.
  • Follows standards and practices to mitigate loss and other risk exposures.
  • Executes complex transactions/processes in compliance with Federal Regulations CC, J and UCC guidelines.
  • Completes extensive and complex research to resolve monetary exceptions within stringent time constraints.
  • Communicates with all markets within the corporation and external financial institutions to accurately resolve exceptions.
  • Supports key business initiatives by identifying Sanctions risks and providing resolution to manage this risk.
  • Processes and reconciles routine and complex transactions of varying risk and financial value in accordance with established policies and procedures.
  • Identifies and addresses exceptions and resolves escalated items.
  • Ensures appropriate materials, documentation, and capacity are available to complete transactions.

Requirements
