About the position

At FIS, we are seeking a motivated and forward-thinking individual to join our team as a Product Owner for the Loanet Product. This role is pivotal in developing and driving the product strategy and go-to-market initiatives for FIS' Loanet Product, which includes both Full Service and Select Services, as well as the Agency Lending Disclosure (ALDOP). The successful candidate will be responsible for positioning FIS Securities Finance for growth by identifying market trends, risks, and growth areas within the Securities Finance sector in North America. This involves analyzing market requirements and deriving relevant business, regulatory, and technical requirements to create and maintain a comprehensive product roadmap. The Product Owner will collaborate closely with the head of development to supervise the execution of development initiatives, ensuring that business cases for key development projects are robust and championing initiatives that promise strong returns on investment. Additionally, the role requires supporting clients' day-to-day requests and inquiries by liaising with internal teams, including Client Services and Professional Services. The Product Owner will also support the sales organization by providing specific market and domain expertise, guiding messaging and product positioning, and conducting training sessions for the salesforce on the value proposition and differentiators of our solutions. Engagement with clients is a critical aspect of this role, as the Product Owner will coordinate and facilitate pilot activities, acting as the primary contact with clients, securing pilot agreements, and monitoring progress. The role also involves determining success criteria for pilot initiatives and making recommendations on whether to proceed based on outcomes. The Product Owner will serve as an escalation point for client issues requiring product change resolution and will practice open communication with clients during feedback sessions and requirements gathering. Presenting FIS Loanet's vision and strategy, along with product information and industry thought leadership, to external audiences will also be part of the responsibilities.
