About The Position
The Operations Analyst plays a crucial role in the Hematology-Oncology Division and the Endocrinology and Metabolism Division at Zuckerberg San Francisco General (ZSFG) Hospital. This position requires a seasoned administrative operations professional who will manage, plan, and administer various operational aspects including human resources, clinical operations, finance, education, facilities, and technology. The incumbent will report directly to the Division Manager and will be responsible for both short-term and long-term planning for the divisions. The role demands good judgment in selecting appropriate methods and techniques to obtain effective solutions to operational challenges. In this capacity, the Operations Analyst will coordinate the daily operations of the division, which includes overseeing the onboarding and off-boarding processes for faculty, staff, and trainees. The incumbent will ensure compliance with UCSF and SFDPH rules and regulations, manage procurement processes, and oversee facilities and IT management. Additionally, the role involves engagement and communication with various stakeholders, including collaboration with the Office of Sponsored Research, Research Finance, HR, and IT Departments. Initially, the position will require mostly on-site work, transitioning to a hybrid model after training. The Operations Analyst will also be involved in managing a significant budget, contributing to the financial health of the divisions, and ensuring that all operational activities align with the overall mission of providing excellent care and research in the fields of hematology-oncology and endocrinology. The position is integral to the success of the divisions, which are committed to advancing diversity, equity, inclusion, and anti-racism initiatives within the healthcare environment.
