The Operations Analyst plays a crucial role in ensuring that Independent Sales Organization (ISO) standards are not only met but exceeded. This position is responsible for leading and enhancing various aspects of the organization, including PayArc's systems, processes, and customer specifications. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, goal-oriented, and eager to make a significant impact in their professional environment. In this role, the Operations Analyst will calculate, examine, and oversee residual payments, applying strong analytical skills to provide guidance to both internal stakeholders and external partners regarding residual payment inquiries. The analyst will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure billing accuracy and propose enhancements to the billing system to meet evolving business needs. Additionally, the analyst will develop formulas to support customer billing aligned with departmental goals and maintain company-wide policies and procedures in compliance with regulatory standards. This position requires a strong understanding of Payarc's business needs to streamline, automate, and improve processes and procedures effectively. The Operations Analyst will also be responsible for providing operational support for ad-hoc projects as needed, making this a dynamic and impactful role within the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Calculate, examine and oversee residual payments.
  • Apply strong analytical skills to provide direction and guidance on residual payment inquiries and issues.
  • Articulate how residual payments are calculated to stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure billing accuracy and propose enhancements to the billing system.
  • Develop formulas to support customer billing based on department goals.
  • Create and maintain company-wide policies and procedures, ensuring alignment with regulatory standards.
  • Implement version control and provide support for training and implementation.
  • Challenge departments to streamline, automate, and improve processes and procedures.
  • Provide operational support for ad-hoc projects as needed.

Requirements

  • 2-3 years of analytical experience.
  • Experience with Microsoft Access, Word, Excel, Outlook, and general internet proficiency.
  • Ability to become proficient in all necessary programs for daily duties.
  • Payment processing experience is preferred.
  • Knowledge of the acquiring business, industry trends, and operational procedures.
