About the position

The Operations Analyst position at SPECTRAFORCE involves a comprehensive analysis of proposed policies, procedures, forms, and reports to recommend operational improvements. The role requires the analyst to evaluate existing procedures and processes, monitor reports to assess performance impacts, and provide detailed analyses of internal performance metrics for various projects. The analyst will assist in implementing and maintaining systems or processes, including testing, and will manage communications regarding the purpose, scope, and status of each implementation to management. In addition, the Operations Analyst will develop and maintain written procedures that align with departmental and organizational standards, documenting and streamlining automated procedures into training materials for end-users. Conducting workflow and process audits is also a key responsibility, where the analyst will work with staff and management to research and document errors, progress, and performance metrics to assess efficiency. Training for new employees and ongoing training as workflow efficiencies are revised will also be part of the role. The analyst will generate data to prepare reports, maintain databases, and analyze trends, ensuring the accuracy of reports by researching and testing processes and methods. Close contact with management is essential to provide updates on issues and projects, complete special projects, and inform management of trends or changes in statistical reports. The position is based onsite in Columbia, SC, and operates on a Monday to Friday schedule from 9 AM to 6 PM, with training hours from 8:30 AM to 5 PM.

Responsibilities

  • Analyzes proposed policies, procedures, forms, and reports to recommend operational improvements.
  • Evaluates existing procedures and processes to make recommendations for improvement and monitors reports to assess performance impacts.
  • Assists in the implementation and maintenance of systems or processes, including testing and managing communications to management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or Associate Degree and 2 years of project management, data analysis, business planning or other job-related experience OR 4 years combined education and job-related experience.
  • 2 years of data analysis or related operations experience.

Nice-to-haves

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Healthcare or other job-related field.
  • 2 years of healthcare or insurance data analysis experience.
