About the position

Turning Point Brands (NYSE: TPB) is seeking a driven and resourceful Operations Analyst to assist in the day-to-day operations of our e-commerce websites. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting with all aspects of the e-commerce business, including inventory management, sales forecasting, and financial reporting. The Operations Analyst will also help in identifying new opportunities to grow the business, gain efficiencies, and improve customer satisfaction. As an Operations Analyst, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our online platforms, which are essential to our business strategy. In this role, you will assist in managing all aspects of an e-commerce website, including product listings, inventory management, and order fulfillment. You will conduct business and financial analytics to forecast sales and inventory needs, producing data-driven reports to guide decision-making. Collaboration is key, as you will partner with stakeholders across various business units, including finance, marketing, sales, fulfillment, IT, and customer support. Your ability to work effectively with these teams will be vital in developing promotional campaigns and product launches that resonate with our customers. Additionally, you will collaborate with IT and technical teams to define, develop, and deploy new features and functionalities that enhance the user experience. Your strategic mindset will be essential in developing and implementing strategies to increase sales and improve customer satisfaction. You will also be responsible for developing and implementing processes and workflows that promote efficiency and productivity within the e-commerce operations.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in managing all aspects of an e-commerce website, including product listings, inventory management, and order fulfillment.
  • Conduct business and financial analytics to forecast sales and inventory needs, and produce data-driven reports to guide decision-making.
  • Partner with stakeholders across business units in a collaborative way, including finance, marketing, sales, fulfillment, IT, and customer support.
  • Work with marketing and sales teams to develop promotional campaigns and product launches.
  • Collaborate with IT and technical teams to define, develop, and deploy new features and functionalities.
  • Develop and implement strategies to increase sales and improve customer satisfaction.
  • Develop and implement processes and workflows that promote efficiency and productivity.

Requirements

  • Experience with e-commerce platforms such as Shopify, Magento, or WooCommerce.
  • Experience with Excel and analyzing different types of data.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the desire to continuously learn.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to perform tasks in a timely and productive manner.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
