About the position

The Operations Analyst at GC Farms, Inc. plays a crucial role in providing administrative support to the Operations team, which includes Production Maintenance, Facilities, and Quality. This position is designed for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment and are capable of handling a high volume of data analysis. The analyst will be responsible for preparing reports, distributing them to internal stakeholders, and ensuring that all necessary documentation is readily available. This role also involves supporting various employee initiatives, including job-specific training and onboarding follow-up, overseeing the ADP scheduling module, and coordinating contract labor. Collaboration across different functions is essential, as is delivering a high level of customer service to both internal and external clients. Success in this role requires adaptability and a positive attitude when faced with challenges and demands. The Operations Analyst will be expected to maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all safety, HACCP, and GMP requirements. The position also involves organizing and controlling operational documentation, conducting data analysis, preparing downtime and shift reports, and reviewing actual work hours against scheduled hours to document variances. Additionally, the analyst will lead efforts in document digitization, support employee training initiatives, and coordinate labor needs with internal and external partners. Close communication with the production team is vital to achieving production output and key performance indicators, along with handling ad hoc requests as they arise.

Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to the Operations team, Production Maintenance, Facilities, and Quality.
  • Conduct high volume data analysis and prepare reports for internal stakeholders.
  • Ensure all operational documentation is organized and readily available.
  • Research and document findings for downtime and shift reports.
  • Review actual work hours against scheduled hours and document variances.
  • Support the annual operations hourly labor budget process.
  • Lead document digitizing efforts and develop process templates.
  • Oversee employee training initiatives and ensure training documentation is completed.
  • Manage the ADP timekeeping system and collaborate with payroll to address discrepancies.
  • Coordinate labor needs with internal and external business partners.
  • Provide technical and administrative support to various departments.
  • Maintain close communication with the production team to achieve production output and KPIs.
  • Handle ad hoc requests as needed.

Requirements

  • Associate's degree and/or a minimum of three years of manufacturing and/or plant experience.
  • Strong data collection and analytical skills, particularly in downtime tracking.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Word and Excel.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish.
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.
