About the position

The Operations Analyst will be part of the Client Onboarding Due Diligence team, focusing on ensuring a smooth onboarding experience for institutional clients while adhering to compliance and risk management protocols. This role involves reviewing AML/KYC documentation, coordinating with various internal and external stakeholders, and implementing process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure due diligence is performed to comply with "Know Your Customer" regulations
  • Develop expertise in the Firm's Anti Money Laundering/Customer Identification due diligence policies
  • Draft procedures to reflect changing regulatory requirements
  • Devise and implement process improvement efficiencies
  • Coordinate with internal and external clients to obtain relevant onboarding requirements
  • Approve the opening of new accounts

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Proven analytical skills and problem-solving ability
  • Meticulous attention to detail
  • Aptitude for building relationships and communicating complex issues
  • Self-motivated and proactive team player
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage competing priorities
  • Flexible and able to work well under pressure

Nice-to-haves

  • Knowledge of Customer Identification Programs (CIP)
  • Understanding of the structure of trading counterparts
  • Knowledge of financial markets and products
  • Ability to adapt to new changes and challenges
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
