Westinghouse Electric is seeking an Operations Analyst for a 12+ month project assignment to assist our nuclear client in Norfolk, VA. The primary responsibility of this role is to monitor and dispatch outage trouble calls, analyze incoming outage calls to determine the location of the problem, and prioritize all emergency work, including both outage and non-outage tasks for first responders. The Operations Analyst will also engage with customers to ascertain the power issues they are experiencing, ensuring effective communication and resolution of their concerns. Candidates for this position should be energetic and personable, possessing a strong customer service orientation. The role requires individuals who can maintain a positive attitude while interacting with customers and field workers throughout the day, even during stressful or busy periods. Being coachable and trainable is essential, as there is a significant amount of information to learn in this position. The ideal candidate will be adept at multi-tasking, handling changing priorities, and demonstrating proficiency in computer-based skills, particularly with all Windows applications and typing. Additionally, strong data analysis skills are necessary to review multiple information sources and determine the appropriate course of action.
