About the position

mPower is looking for a well-rounded Operations Analyst to join our team. Our team consists of experts and professionals who have experience in management, administration, consulting, and technology. This position seeks to implement positive mission-oriented change, to deliver tangible operational results, and to build and continuously improve the organization. The Operations Analyst will play a crucial role in supporting various projects and initiatives, ensuring that operations run smoothly and efficiently. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting project and task management and coordination, monitoring progress, and providing updates as requested. You will facilitate communications with internal and external stakeholders in support of various projects, ensuring that all parties are informed and engaged. Additionally, you will draft, review, and edit various documentation and materials, which could also include graphics and visual representations of data. This includes materials such as internal, external, and client-facing communications, proposals, and deliverables. Conducting research to inform briefings regarding various back-office and client-facing projects and initiatives will also be a key responsibility. You will support process improvement initiatives by providing objective perspectives and feedback and recommending possible solutions. Furthermore, you will assist in business development and capture activities, which can include pre-proposal and proposal activities such as incumbent research, competitive analysis, opportunity assessments, and technical writing. Supporting internal governance and quality management processes and practices, as well as their application to key business functions such as human capital management and IT, will also be part of your duties. Lastly, you will assist with employee engagement efforts and events planning and coordination, contributing to a positive workplace culture.

Responsibilities

  • Support project and task management and coordination, monitoring progress and providing updates as requested.

Requirements

  • 5 years of professional experience, which can include internships.
  • Bachelor's Degree or higher (2 or more years of experience can substitute degree requirements).
  • Demonstrated proficiency with common productivity software such as Microsoft Office (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, SharePoint).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong time management skills and attention to detail.
  • Self-starter and quick learner with the initiative and ability to work independently and develop new skills.
