About the position

The Operations Analyst position at ICF focuses on supporting Commercial Energy Efficiency Programs, primarily in a remote capacity, with a requirement to be located within three hours of Tulsa, OK. This role is designed for individuals who have a strong background in operations management, particularly in executing multiple projects, managing budgets, and performing data analytics and reporting. The successful candidate will work closely with program managers, project coordinators, and engineers to develop and implement strategies that enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of energy programs aimed at providing energy savings to customers, including underserved communities. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating program-level deliverables, which include weekly reports and forecasting, while ensuring that both qualitative and quantitative data are accurately represented. You will support internal and external meetings by preparing necessary data, documenting action items, and ensuring that all program staff have access to the latest resources and documents. Additionally, you will manage the invoicing process, ensuring that all incentives are processed correctly and timely, and you will lead communication with the IT group to monitor and improve the use of IT tools. The position also requires you to stay updated on energy efficiency technologies and maintain process workflows and team manuals. You will track Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and work with the portfolio manager to implement corrective action plans as needed. This role is integral to ensuring that the energy efficiency programs meet their goals and deliver value to clients and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Coordination of regular program-level deliverables, including weekly reports and forecasting.
  • Supporting internal and external team meetings by preparing quantitative data and coordinating qualitative inputs.
  • Initiating program-level incentive invoices and reviewing data points with program managers.
  • Generating accurate and polished deliverables for all reports and presentations.
  • Maintaining and updating shared files and program documents for staff access.
  • Assembling and polishing PowerPoint presentations for client meetings.
  • Entering data into Excel for invoicing and program forecasting.
  • Managing various invoicing processes and performing QA reviews with program managers.
  • Leading communication with the IT group and monitoring IT tickets.
  • Monitoring program participant volume and generating scorecards.
  • Staying updated with energy efficiency technologies.
  • Learning and updating process workflows and team manuals.
  • Tracking contractual Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and coordinating corrective action plans.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience (1 year of related experience can substitute for 1 year of education).
  • 2+ years of experience in developing, designing, or administering operational processes or managing operations for consulting projects.
  • Strong analytical skills and experience with Power BI or similar data visualization tools.
  • Knowledge of energy efficiency, demand response, and distributed energy resource programs.
  • Certifications related to operational excellence (PMP, Six Sigma, etc.) or industry-specific certificates (LEED, BPI, RESNET, etc.).
  • Demonstrated success in complex cross-functional teams to achieve high production levels and meet deadlines.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with clients and colleagues.
