About the position

QinetiQ US is seeking a creative, hands-on Operations Analyst to be a member of our data and technology group. As an Operations Analyst, you'll play a pivotal role in maintaining system data accuracy and providing analytical support. This position is essential for ensuring that our operations run smoothly and efficiently, contributing to the overall success of our projects and initiatives. You will be responsible for collecting and organizing information from various sources, analyzing and ensuring the accuracy of system data, and conducting interviews with employees and managers to gather insights and identify areas for improvement. In this role, you will identify and solve problems in various fields or specialized areas, enhancing workflow and cross-departmental engagements. You will utilize statistical methods to analyze information and develop solutions to business problems, advising managers on your findings and the various courses they can take to address the identified issues. Additionally, you will be responsible for writing memos and reports for managers to review your findings and recommendations, ensuring that all stakeholders are informed and equipped to make data-driven decisions. This position requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to data accuracy, as you will be supporting multiple teams effectively. Your ability to multitask and communicate clearly will be crucial in this dynamic environment, where collaboration and innovation are key to our success.

Responsibilities

  • Provide analytical support to Operations and Information Technology.

Requirements

  • Two or more years proven work experience as an Operations Analyst or similar role.
  • Degree in Information Technology (IT) or equivalent is preferred.
  • Mathematical skills to process complex calculations.
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Strong analytical skills with a commitment to data accuracy.
  • Ability to multitask and support multiple teams effectively.
  • Valid U.S. Driver's license required.
