About the position

The Operations and Customer Experience Coordinator is responsible for ensuring operational efficiency and high levels of customer satisfaction. This role bridges the gap between efficient operations and exceptional customer service, focusing on optimizing operational processes while nurturing strong relationships with existing customers. The coordinator plays a key role in onboarding new customers, managing ongoing client relationships, and supporting operations with critical tasks, including asset management oversight.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary support to the Operations Director, managing day-to-day operational tasks.
  • Coordinate and facilitate meetings for the Operations Management team, ensuring all necessary documentation and follow-ups are handled efficiently.
  • Oversee the tactical execution of the company's operational goals, particularly in areas that require direct customer interaction and support.
  • Take ownership of maintaining and deepening relationships with current customers, ensuring they receive regular, personalized follow-ups and support.
  • Oversee the onboarding process for both new and existing customers, ensuring they transition smoothly into our systems and operations.
  • Conduct thorough evaluations of potential clients, assisting in the vetting process to determine suitability and alignment with our business goals.
  • Manage and organize key operational tools, processes, and templates for the Operations Director.
  • Facilitate efficient communication and coordination by scheduling and managing meetings, tracking action items, and ensuring strategic initiatives are executed effectively.
  • Maintain and track company assets, ensuring all containers and bins are branded, identified, and logged in the system.
  • Oversee and troubleshoot daily logistics, managing emergency response protocols and vendor relationships.
  • Coordinate with dispatch to ensure customer-facing operations are aligned with asset availability and utilization.
  • Lead and manage the operations team in daily activities, providing ongoing training and development.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in operations, dispatch, logistics, or customer service, preferably within the recycling or waste management industry.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage customer relationships.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with operational or logistics software is a plus.
  • Attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and a proactive approach to operational challenges.

Benefits
