About the position

The Sr. Technician role is essential for maintaining and repairing the company's Animal Health Aqua technology systems, which include various components such as RFID systems, power sources, and gas infusion systems. This position is part of the Post-Sales Support Team and focuses on customer support for both mature and emerging technologies. The role involves conducting routine and emergency site visits, remote monitoring, and project coordination with various entities.

Responsibilities

• Installation and maintenance of MAH Aqua technology systems.
• Remote monitoring and diagnosis of systems.
• Integration of systems or components into new and existing projects.
• Product testing and development assistance.
• Project coordination with state, federal, tribal, and private entities.
• Assisting with the development of annual technical and final project reports.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in natural resources, forestry, or fisheries, or equivalent experience as a technician.
• Experience in data analysis, animal tagging/tracking, technology installation, and repair.
• High degree of proficiency with technical/electronic devices.
• Good written and oral communication skills.
• High proficiency with computers, operating systems, networks, and electronic devices.
• Understanding of TCP/IP network infrastructure.
• Knowledge of RFID, IOT, M2M systems and principles.
• Ability to work independently and with multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Good organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to travel up to 50% within the US and Canada.
