About the position

The Operations and Management Analyst at Analytic Services, Inc. (ANSER) will support the Office of the Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for Chemical and Biological Defense (ODASD(CBD)). This role focuses on enhancing the operational efficiency of the office by managing staff action processes, workflow, and office management tasks essential for the mission of the ODASD(CBD).

Responsibilities

  • Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of current functions, missions, roles, and interrelationships of the Office of the Secretary of Defense staff.
  • Supporting the operations and management functional area of the ODASD(CBD), including personnel security, physical security, facilities management, and correspondence management.
  • Reviewing and assisting with the development of all written communications within the ODASD(CBD).
  • Drafting correspondence for the ODASD(CBD) as needed.
  • Utilizing the Correspondence and Task Management System (CATMS) for staffing and coordination of written communications.
  • Providing subject matter expertise to assist action officers with CATMS and the development of packages.
  • Preparing and coordinating personnel packages as needed.
  • Supporting the requisition of supplies, equipment, and furniture.
  • Preparing awards and promotion ceremony functions as needed.
  • Coordinating the transmission of office personnel security clearances and visit requests.
  • Ensuring physical security of the spaces, including access management to classified workspaces.
  • Conducting in/out-processing of all personnel including civilian, military, contractor, and fellows.
  • Requesting computer account creation for NIPR, SIPR, and JWICS accounts as required.
  • Supporting Freedom of Information Act/Mandatory Declassification Review (FOIA/MDR) requests.

Requirements

  • Possess an active Top Secret/SCI security clearance.
  • Bachelor's degree and 10+ years of experience OR 15+ years of related experience without a bachelor's degree.
  • Experience working with, briefing, and engaging General Officer/Flag Officer/SES-level personnel.
  • Demonstrated communication skills, both written and oral.
  • Demonstrated organizational skills with attention to detail.

  • Recent experience with CATMS.
  • Experience working with DoD correspondence.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced office with a high operational tempo.
  • Ability to work independently with limited information.
