About the position

State Street seeks to recruit an Operations and Reporting Vice President to build, maintain, and manage the processes to support the Advanced Threat Operational Reporting and Remediation team within the bank's Fusion and Security Operations organization. This program will provide analysis of red team, pen testing, and other Advanced Threat related findings and perform immediate risk reduction actions, root cause analysis, and risk and controls reporting to the respective risk committees and the Head of Fusion and Security Operations. As the Operations and Reporting VP, you will build, maintain, and manage the processes and tools to support the team. You will develop and maintain processes and supporting documentation for the team's analytic activities, track the team's progress, and manage the generation and assignment of findings from the team's work. You will provide training on your processes and products to the team and conduct quality assurance over the team's reports. You will also manage the Advanced Threat team's pen testing case management tool.

Responsibilities

  • Create guidelines and procedures to standardize the work of the team and train team members on those processes
  • Manage the team's workload, administer the caseload management tool, and develop supporting templates and reports
  • Assist in the development of an analytical framework to determine the root cause and risk level of individual penetration test findings
  • Assist in the development, tracking, and reporting of team performance metrics
  • Assist in the development, tracking, and reporting of enterprise metrics around risks identified during penetration testing
  • Manage the process around identification of finding owners, assignment of findings for remediation, and tracking of remediation efforts
  • Conduct quality assurance activities on the team's work product to ensure the risk is appropriately identified, documented, and reported

Requirements

  • 5 or more years in a program management role interacting with senior cyber security and risk management executives
  • Expertise in preparing and maintaining reporting materials
  • Ability to communicate with and appropriately influence management
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication (written and verbal), and presentation skills
  • Excellent project management skills, critical thinking and attention to detail
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and organizational/time management skills
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively across silos
  • Bachelor's degree with 5 years relevant experience
  • High proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

Nice-to-haves

  • Previous experience in banking industry a plus
  • Previous experience with managing workload or managing a case management tool
