About the position

The Operations Assistant/Bar Program Coordinator supports the Events & Conferences Department and Stone Barn at Sebago Lake by providing operational assistance; serving as Bar Program Coordinator for all Stone Barn events; effectively manages Event Bar employees and provides management; and serving as a customer service liaison.

Responsibilities

• Provide operational assistance to the Events & Conferences Department.
• Serve as Bar Program Coordinator for all Stone Barn events.
• Effectively manage Event Bar employees.
• Act as a customer service liaison.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree preferred or combination of High school/GED and 3-5 years administrative experience within a customer-service environment.
• Proven experience as a Beverage Manager or similar role within the foodservice industry.
• Highly skilled in Microsoft Word with experience in document creation, file management/retrieval, merge functions, etc.
• Strong internet and email skills; event, invoicing, accounting, and timesheet software experience preferred.
• Valid Driver's License with ability to be verified/tested for campus vehicles.
• Possesses problem solving skills and the ability to work independently.
• Duties require professional verbal and written communication skills.
• Possesses an attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
• Able to speak clearly and listen attentively to staff, peers, supervisors, guests and clients.
• Must demonstrate teamwork skills and a willingness to help others.
• Possess a positive attitude to foster a cohesive working environment.
• Demonstrated organization and time management skills, including the ability to effectively prioritize tasks.
