About the position

The Operations Assistant Manager plays a vital role in supporting the team with various administrative and operational tasks. This position is essential for ensuring smooth operations and enhancing overall efficiency within the organization. Responsibilities

  • Assist with employee orientation and onboarding processes to ensure new hires are effectively integrated into the team.
  • Provide clerical support, including data entry, filing, and maintaining accurate records.
  • Exhibit phone etiquette by handling incoming calls professionally and addressing inquiries or directing them to the appropriate personnel.
  • Support the Assistant Manager in daily operations, including scheduling and coordinating staff activities.
  • Assist with payroll processing by collecting necessary documentation and ensuring accuracy in employee records.
  • Contribute to retail management efforts by monitoring inventory levels and assisting with inventory control measures.
  • Help sell products or services by providing exceptional customer service and support during transactions.
  • Manage inventory effectively by tracking stock levels, placing orders, and organizing storage areas.
  • Utilize bilingual skills to communicate with diverse clientele and enhance customer interactions.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in an administrative or operations role is a PLUS.
  • Understanding of employee orientation processes and clerical duties.
  • Excellent phone etiquette with strong verbal communication skills.
  • Familiarity with payroll systems and retail management practices is a plus.
  • Proficient in inventory management techniques, including tracking and ordering supplies.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • A positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills as needed.
