About the position

The Operations Assistant role at a financial advisory firm in Westerville, Ohio, involves supporting three advisors with a focus on back-office tasks and some client-facing responsibilities. The position is essential for facilitating coordination and addressing service-related needs, making it a key support role within the team.

Responsibilities

  • Primarily support the Managing Director and three other advisors as needed
  • Handle new account paperwork and create reports for client meetings
  • Conduct research on client needs and change beneficiaries
  • Perform heavy administrative tasks, including lease administration
  • Manage service-related needs and act as a point of contact for clients

Requirements

  • 1-3+ years of experience in a similar role
  • Experience in RIA/Broker Dealer environments
  • Series 65 or Series 7 license preferred
  • Proficiency with financial trading software
  • Strong administrative skills and attention to detail
  • Experience working as an LPL as a custodian is a plus
  • Ability to work onsite 100% at their office in Westerville, Ohio
