The associate will also play a crucial role in replenishing and restocking the store, understanding customer needs, and preparing merchandise for the sales floor to ensure that customers have access to the styles and sizes they desire. Receiving and unloading merchandise is another key responsibility, where the associate will work alongside co-workers to manage inventory effectively. Maintaining backroom standards is essential, as the stockroom must be kept safe, clean, and organized. The Operations Associate will also contribute to omnichannel efforts, which include Buy Online Pickup in Store, Ship from Store, Order Delivery and Returns, and Shipping Online Orders. The role requires the associate to follow the merchandise strategy communicated by leadership, executing plans with efficiency and attention to detail. This includes understanding merchandising standards and maintaining them to deliver an outstanding customer experience. The Operations Associate will participate in a learning environment, absorbing new information from peers and training materials related to merchandise, shrink, safety, productivity, and other business processes. Overall, this position is integral to the store's operations and customer satisfaction, requiring a blend of customer service skills, operational efficiency, and teamwork.

Responsibilities

  • Provide outstanding customer service by assisting customers with inquiries and requests.
  • Execute pricing and signage changes on merchandise throughout the store.
  • Replenish and restock merchandise to ensure availability for customers.
  • Receive and unload merchandise from deliveries, preparing it for the sales floor.

Requirements

  • 1-2 years of retail experience is preferred.
