About the position

BKV Corporation is seeking an Operations Business Analyst II to join our team in Fort Worth, TX. This role is pivotal in optimizing and enhancing operational efficiency within the drilling, completions, and production sectors of natural gas. The Operations Business Analyst II will be responsible for analyzing data to identify opportunities for improvement and implementing strategies that drive performance while mitigating risks. This position operates under general supervision and requires the ability to influence others by clearly explaining facts, policies, and practices. The challenges faced in this role may be difficult but are generally not overly complex, allowing for a focus on integrity, accountability, and transparency in all actions, in line with BKV's standards and values. The successful candidate will monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to drilling and completions, generate insightful reports, and provide actionable recommendations to management. This role involves conducting thorough data analysis using statistical techniques to identify trends and areas for optimization. The Operations Business Analyst II will also create and manage dashboards to track operational performance and collaborate with cross-functional teams to map and analyze operational processes, identifying bottlenecks and proposing improvements. Ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and industry policies is crucial, and the analyst will recommend strategies to meet these compliance requirements. Effective communication and the ability to influence key stakeholders regarding policies, practices, and procedures are essential components of this role. Additionally, the analyst may provide guidance and assistance to entry-level professionals and other team members as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor drilling and completions key performance indicators (KPIs), generate reports, and provide insights and recommendations to management.
  • Conduct data analysis and use statistical techniques to identify trends, patterns, and areas for optimization.
  • Create and manage dashboards to track operational performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to map and analyze operational processes, identify bottlenecks, and propose improvements.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and industry policies and recommend strategies to meet compliance requirements.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, including operations teams, engineering department, and regulatory agencies.
  • Communicate effectively and work to influence key stakeholders regarding policies, practices, and procedures.
  • May provide guidance and assistance to entry-level professionals and others.
  • Perform other duties as required.

Requirements

  • Understanding of natural gas industry standards, market trends, emerging issues, and regulatory requirements.
  • Skilled in Wellview management and reporting.
  • Experience developing data analytics tools using platforms such as Spotfire or Power BI.
  • Experience with P2, SCADA, and Enertia software preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and job-related applications.
  • Uses insights from digital tools to improve performance.
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic fast-paced environment.
