The Operations Business Analyst at CareOregon is a pivotal role that serves as an advanced team resource, focusing on technical and process assessments within the organization. This position is designed for a professional who can effectively collaborate across various departments, including Information Systems (IS) and external vendors, to analyze problems, define business requirements, and recommend viable solutions. The Operations Business Analyst is responsible for overseeing the entire life cycle of development, from gathering requirements to implementation and ongoing support. This role emphasizes the application of process improvement methodologies, leveraging organizational assets, and adhering to best practices to enhance operational efficiency. In this role, the analyst will perform comprehensive systems analysis and design new systems tailored to meet the evolving needs of the organization. Key responsibilities include gathering and defining functional business requirements for both new and existing processes, documenting these requirements, and translating them into actionable tasks for analysts and IS teams. The analyst will also collaborate closely with these teams to implement changes and participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to ensure that the solutions meet business needs. The Operations Business Analyst will monitor and improve the quality of reports produced, maintain project quality, and implement continuous process improvements. They will develop ad-hoc reports using Microsoft applications and provide insightful analysis to stakeholders. Ongoing system support and guidance to department staff is a critical aspect of this role, as is the management of support requests through a ticketing system. The analyst will communicate the status of pending requests to stakeholders and represent the perspective of business units during project implementations. Building and maintaining productive relationships with customers at all levels is essential, as is engaging with senior leaders as thought partners when necessary. The analyst will also present the results of their analyses to executive sponsors as required.
