About the position
This position is responsible for controlling, inspecting, and tracking inbound and outbound customer and vendor truck traffic along with coordinating the timely flow of trailers and paperwork needed in the process of receiving, storing, and shipping product. The role involves coordinating dock flow for all outbound loads, tracking and verifying paperwork and product on trailers, investigating shortages of product in the picking process, comparing accuracy of supplier bills, choosing and staging loads to be received, printing, distributing, and finalizing shipping and receiving paperwork as needed, inspecting and recording inbound vehicle data, verifying correct load and temperature settings, using Yard Management, and processing Company Driver check-in paperwork.
Responsibilities
- Coordinates dock flow for all outbound loads
- Tracks and verifies paperwork and product on trailers
- Investigates shortages of product in the picking process
- Compares accuracy of supplier bills
- Chooses and stages loads to be received
- Prints, distributes, and finalizes shipping and receiving paperwork as needed
- Inspect & record inbound vehicle data
- Verifying correct load & temperature settings
- Use of Yard Management
- Process Company Driver check-in paperwork
Requirements
- High School Diploma or General Equivalency Degree
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
