About the position

The Operations Clerk position at the Club 56 on Luke AFB, AZ, involves providing clerical and administrative support to the club's operations. This role is flexible and does not offer benefits, focusing on various day-to-day tasks such as managing correspondence, scheduling, inventory assistance, and cash handling.

Responsibilities

  • Perform various clerical and administrative support duties for the Club.
  • Receive, log, and route incoming mail.
  • Schedule routine functions and make tentative appointments for the supervisor.
  • Arrange staff meetings as required.
  • Assist with inventory management.
  • Receive telephone calls and greet visitors.
  • Maintain necessary suspense controls.
  • Use word processing software to produce documents, correspondence, and reports.
  • Enter invoices and receiving documents into the Internet Based Purchasing System (IBPS).
  • Reconcile club invoices and transfers between cost centers.
  • Run reports and input data into computer programs such as Food Trac, Time Management, Club Works, and Aloha.
  • Input sales and expenses into daily Profit & Loss statement accounts.
  • Prepare personnel actions related to club personnel under the direction of the manager.
  • Transmit and receive documents and messages electronically using a personal computer.
  • Serve as a backup cashier and handle cash receipts and transactions.
  • Prepare and issue change funds and make daily bank deposits.

Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age.
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English.
  • Experience in cash handling is required.
  • Knowledge of word processing techniques and proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook is necessary.
  • Knowledge of time management, Club Works, and Aloha Systems is desired.
  • Good customer service skills are essential.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with time management software (TMX).
