About the position

As a Manager in Operations Consulting focusing on Sourcing & Procurement at PwC, you will be responsible for optimizing sourcing and procurement processes to drive cost savings, enhance supplier collaboration, and improve supply chain resilience. This role involves analyzing client needs, developing operational strategies, and providing guidance on implementing strategic sourcing frameworks and digital procurement solutions. You will also lead and mentor team members, ensuring quality delivery and performance management while fostering a culture of innovation and integrity.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze client needs and develop operational strategies to improve productivity and business performance.
  • Optimize sourcing and procurement processes to drive cost savings and supplier collaboration.
  • Provide guidance on implementing strategic sourcing frameworks and digital procurement solutions.
  • Coach and mentor team members, leveraging their unique strengths to deliver quality results.
  • Take ownership of projects, ensuring successful planning, budgeting, execution, and completion.
  • Communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders, addressing conflicts and engaging in difficult conversations when necessary.
  • Uphold professional and technical standards, including the Firm's code of conduct and independence requirements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration/Management, Economics, Industrial and Operations Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or Industrial Engineering.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in supplier management and sourcing.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills and experience in managing teams and projects.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to provide fact-based insights from qualitative and quantitative data.

Nice-to-haves

  • Master's degree in a relevant field.
  • Experience with GEP modules such as Procure to Pay, Sourcing, Contracting, and Supplier Management.
  • Understanding of system architecture and ERP systems connectivity with GEP.
  • Ability to facilitate working sessions with client leads to define business requirements.
