About the position

As a Manager in Operations Consulting at PwC, you will specialize in sourcing and procurement, focusing on optimizing processes to drive cost savings and enhance supplier collaboration. Your role involves analyzing client needs, developing operational strategies, and providing guidance to improve procurement efficiency. You will lead projects, mentor team members, and ensure the successful execution of initiatives while upholding professional standards and fostering a culture of integrity and innovation.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze and identify linkages and interactions within entire systems.
  • Take ownership of projects, ensuring successful planning, budgeting, execution, and completion.
  • Partner with team leadership to ensure collective ownership of quality, timelines, and deliverables.
  • Mentor and develop team members, encouraging skill development outside their comfort zones.
  • Engage in difficult conversations with clients and stakeholders, addressing conflicts or issues as they arise.
  • Provide oversight and guidance on system build and testing activities, ensuring timely completion of technical development activities.
  • Oversee Supplier Enablement activities and support change management related to communications and training.
  • Coordinate with Change Management teams during system deployment activities, including training and go-live readiness.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration/Management, Economics, Industrial and Operations Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or Industrial Engineering.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a relevant field.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead project management activities and oversee junior staff.
  • Extensive knowledge of Sourcing and Procurement leading practices and ability to communicate at strategic and operational levels.
  • Experience in Procure to Pay, Sourcing, Contracting, and Supplier Management modules of GEP.

Nice-to-haves

  • Master's degree preferred.
  • Experience in CLM-A, Risk modules, GEP Pay, and GEP Expenses.
  • Understanding of system architecture and benefits of different ERP systems.
