About the position

The position focuses on optimizing sourcing and procurement processes to drive cost savings, supplier collaboration, and supply chain resilience. The role involves analyzing client needs, developing operational strategies, and providing guidance to enhance procurement efficiency and effectiveness. The individual will lead projects, mentor team members, and uphold professional standards while embracing technology and innovation.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and identify the linkages and interactions between the component parts of an entire system.
• Take ownership of projects, ensuring their successful planning, budgeting, execution, and completion.
• Partner with team leadership to ensure collective ownership of quality, timelines, and deliverables.
• Develop skills outside your comfort zone, and encourage others to do the same.
• Effectively mentor others and use the review of work as an opportunity to deepen the expertise of team members.
• Address conflicts or issues, engaging in difficult conversations with clients, team members, and other stakeholders, escalating where appropriate.
• Uphold and reinforce professional and technical standards, including the Firm's code of conduct and independence requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Business Administration/Management, Economics, Industrial and Operations Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or Industrial Engineering.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in operations consulting or related fields.

Nice-to-haves

• Master's Degree preferred.
• Experience with spend analysis, development of category and commodity strategies, and market analysis.
• Knowledge of Source-to-Pay (S2P) technology landscape including SAP Ariba, Coupa, iValua, etc.
• Experience in facilitating strategic sourcing activities and methodologies.
