About The Position

The Operations Controller at Paragon 28 is a key financial leadership role responsible for overseeing financial processes, ensuring compliance, and enhancing operational efficiency within the organization. Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or CMA preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in cost accounting or financial operations, preferably within the medical device or manufacturing sector.
• Strong knowledge of technical accounting standards and practices.
• Proven ability to manage audits and work with external auditors.
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across departments.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and mentor the cost accountant, ensuring accurate and timely execution of financial processes.
• Lead the closing processes for technical accounting, including End-of-Period (E&O) and Purchase Price Variance (PPV) calculations.
• Perform and oversee month-end reconciliations to ensure accuracy and compliance with financial standards.
• Collaborate with external auditors during financial audits, providing necessary documentation and insights.
• Act as the primary owner for the annual cost roll and manage the physical inventory process, ensuring accuracy in valuation and reporting.
