About the position

Ironclad Environmental Solutions is seeking an Operations Coordinator I to join our team in Salt Lake City, UT. This position is crucial for the success of our yard operations, focusing on safety and efficiency. The Operations Coordinator will supervise key functions within the assigned branch, ensuring that the yard meets all operational expectations. The role involves managing day-to-day operations, coordinating the delivery and pick-up of units, and preparing units for rental or sale. The ideal candidate will be reliable, trustworthy, and hands-on, ready to deliver exceptional service to our clients and support our local communities. In this role, you will be responsible for assigning and scheduling team members based on demand forecasts, maximizing time, and increasing the availability of units. You will monitor costs and production to ensure effective use of resources and time. Coaching, training, and mentoring your team to focus on safety, efficiency, and high performance will be key aspects of your responsibilities. Additionally, you will work closely with the operations manager to develop new processes and procedures that enhance safety and efficiency in our operations. The Operations Coordinator may also oversee the ordering and scheduling of supplies and other branch necessities, ensuring that all operations run smoothly. Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day operations of all positions, focusing on safety and efficiency in preparing units for rental/sale.
  • Coordinate the delivery and pick-up of units.
  • Assign and schedule the team based on demand and forecast of units to maximize time and increase available units.
  • Monitor all costs and production to ensure effective use of resources and time.
  • Coach, train, and mentor team members to focus on safety, efficiency, and high performance.
  • Work with the operations manager to develop new processes and procedures with a focus on safety and efficiency.
  • Oversee the ordering and scheduling of supplies and branch necessities.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; some college preferred.
  • 2 years of operations experience.
  • Knowledge in MS Office Suite, including Excel.
  • Ability to multi-task effectively.
  • Knowledge of OSHA and state-specific safety regulations.
  • Welding experience or welding certificate.
  • Forklift Certification preferred.
  • Ability to communicate clearly, both verbally and in writing.
  • Valid Driver's License.
