About the position

The Operations Coordinator (2nd Shift) at Garmin International, Inc. is responsible for organizing and coordinating associates and processes within the warehouse. This role ensures compliance with departmental procedures while maintaining a safe and clean work environment. The coordinator will oversee daily activities, manage inventory accuracy, and support training efforts, all while operating in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate daily activities in area of responsibility
  • Perform cycle counts as required
  • Operate RF device to transact and move material
  • Meet quality and productivity metrics
  • Perform housekeeping tasks to maintain a safe work environment
  • Work variable and flexible hours including overtime
  • Resolve issues in a timely manner and meet operational deadlines
  • Support training of associates in accordance with warehouse procedures
  • Ensure all quality procedures and requirements are performed correctly
  • Prioritize workload and communicate all activities and issues
  • Troubleshoot daily issues in area
  • Examine, sort, arrange, count, store, pick, pack, and ship items for storage or shipment
  • Pull and audit material as required for KANBAN and other orders
  • Receive, transact, and sort inbound material
  • Utilize Microsoft Office Suite and email for daily tasks
  • Communicate with various Garmin departments about order and shipping status
  • Compile daily metrics and send to multiple departments
  • Assist with training and communication of problem orders and shipments
  • Review and maintain all past due orders

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Minimum of 1 year warehouse or related experience
  • Previous experience in a coordinator, lead, supervisory, or leadership role
  • Previous equipment operation experience
  • Proficiency using personal computers
  • Effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Fluent in English, with basic math understanding
  • Ability to bend, twist, and lift up to 55 pounds
  • Ability to operate equipment rated for operators 300 pounds or less
