About the position

The Operations Coordinator at Meridian Health Services plays a crucial role in managing operations within the Pediatric office, focusing on the integration of physical, mental, and social well-being. This full-time position involves collaboration with the Practice Manager to enhance service delivery, maintain relationships with referral sources, and ensure compliance with health center requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in marketing and promoting program services to potential referral sources.
  • Maintain positive relationships with referral sources.
  • Obtain data and prepare recommendations regarding potential referral sources and clients.
  • Participate in market research to determine area and patient needs.
  • Provide support as staff and/or clinical on the floor to meet patient needs.
  • Assist in evaluating the effectiveness of services.
  • Develop and maintain communications in a cooperative and professional manner with all levels of staff, patients, and referral sources.
  • Communicate openly, honestly, and constructively with all stakeholders.
  • Treat all employees, patients, and referral staff with dignity, respect, and courtesy.
  • Resolve concerns and problems concerning communication, trust, and respect.
  • Assist the Practice Manager in coordinating and growing clinics.
  • Monitor provider schedules and complete staff performance evaluations.
  • Address complaints and resolve problems as they arise.
  • Monitor and report staff compliance with productivity standards and documentation expectations.
  • Assist in monitoring scheduling, including no-show rates.
  • Ensure compliance with program requirements for Federally Qualified Health Centers.
  • Complete all other essential administrative tasks as assigned by the Practice Manager.

Requirements

  • MA or LPN license required.
  • Two (2) years related experience required.
  • A valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Proof of auto insurance and a driving record meeting Meridian's driving policy.
