About the position

The Operations Coordinator for Wentworth's Advancement Services department is a key organizational role focused on enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of Wentworth's fundraising and engagement efforts. This role requires a highly organized, tech-savvy individual who can manage multiple operational tasks, support project coordination, and ensure the smooth running of advancement services' initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, excellent problem-solving skills, and a passion for supporting key initiatives for the institution. This role can be performed on a hybrid schedule (remote & on-campus).

Responsibilities

  • Act as a project coordinator for key Advancement Services initiatives, ensuring projects are executed efficiently and align with our strategic goals.
  • Oversee the ticket system for Advancement Services requests, ensuring timely and effective resolution of issues and queries.
  • Utilize our Slate CRM platform to create and manage forms for various purposes, ensuring they are optimized for user experience and data collection.
  • Design and manage campaign landing pages, ensuring they are effective in driving engagement and supporting fundraising efforts.
  • Offer dedicated Slate support to the Events team, ensuring they have the tools and knowledge to successfully use the platform for event management.
  • Assist in the maintenance of Slate and other supporting platforms, ensuring they are up to date and utilized in accordance with best practices.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree with proven experience in operations, project coordination, or a similar role, preferably within a higher education or nonprofit setting.
  • Experience in digital marketing and/or CRM platforms such as HubSpot with the ability to quickly learn new technologies. Slate experience is preferred but not required.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders.
  • A proactive problem-solver with a keen attention to detail and a commitment to excellence.
