About the position

The Operations Coordinator at Tiffany & Co. plays a crucial role in managing back-of-house operations within the store, ensuring exceptional client service and supporting sales initiatives. This position requires a passion for the brand and a commitment to delivering the Tiffany Experience, which emphasizes personalized service and operational excellence. The Coordinator acts as a key holder and manager on duty in the absence of a manager, overseeing various operational tasks and enhancing the overall customer experience.

Responsibilities

  • Perform all back of house operations in a Tiffany store.
  • Coordinate order fulfillment and manage inventory.
  • Partner with store leadership on key initiatives to drive sales goals.
  • Act as a manager on duty when a manager is unavailable.
  • Deepen client relationships to drive loyalty and spending.
  • Capture customer data during interactions to cultivate new and existing customers.
  • Elevate in-store experience by delivering memorable moments.
  • Resolve client and employee concerns using judgment and knowledge of policies.
  • Execute daily operational tasks such as shipping, receiving, and replenishment.
  • Ensure compliance with internal control procedures and maintain inventory accuracy.
  • Support company operations efficiency objectives and provide feedback on process changes.

Requirements

  • 2-3 years of prior retail experience in retail operations.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of merchandising, client service, administration, and shipping.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Ability to work retail store hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Organized and detail-oriented.
  • Flexibility to perform different tasks based on day-to-day business needs.
  • Must have authorization to work in the United States.

  • Graduate Gemologist degree or previous GIA coursework.
