About the position

Children's Minnesota is one of the largest pediatric health systems in the United States, dedicated exclusively to providing care for children from before birth through young adulthood. As a not-for-profit organization since 1924, it operates two free-standing hospitals, nine primary care clinics, multiple specialty clinics, and seven rehabilitation sites throughout the Upper Midwest. The Children's Hospital Association (CHA), a volunteer non-profit organization with a rich history of supporting children's healthcare needs, has donated over $21 million to Children's Minnesota. This position, reporting to the Executive Director of CHA, involves providing essential support for daily office operations and administrative tasks. The Coordinator will be responsible for organizing and coordinating office administration, maintaining relationships with consultants and vendors, supporting the Executive Director, board members, and guild members, managing agency data, and overseeing CHA systems and platforms. This role is remote, based in Minnesota or Wisconsin, with local travel required for event coordination.

Responsibilities

  • Organize and coordinate office administration tasks.
  • Maintain strong relationships with consultants and vendors.
  • Provide general support to the Executive Director, board members, and guild members.
  • Collect and manage agency data effectively.
  • Oversee CHA systems and platforms.

Requirements

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree or related experience preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in fundraising, data entry and/or analysis, non-profit leadership and/or volunteer management.

Nice-to-haves

  • Knowledge of the theory and practice of fundraising and nonprofit operations desired.
  • Demonstrated experience leading projects, specifically event coordination.
