About the position

The Operations Coordinator II plays a crucial role in supporting the administrative functions of the department within Ryder System, a leading name in logistics and transportation. This position involves clerical tasks such as managing documents, maintaining records, and ensuring the accuracy of information. The coordinator is expected to provide excellent customer service and maintain professional relationships while working in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to the department including filing, opening mail, typing, and answering phones.
  • Receive, classify, reconcile, consolidate, and summarize documents and information.
  • Maintain records or logs and verify the completion and accuracy of information.
  • Set up and maintain files and records.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Two (2) years or more of administrative and clerical support experience required.
  • Demonstrated customer service skills and telephone etiquette.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to create and maintain professional relationships within all levels of the organization.
  • Highly organized with excellent time management skills.
