About the position

The Operations Coordinator for Electrical Services at Global Experience Specialists, Inc. plays a crucial role in supporting the Operations Department by managing key administrative activities related to electrical services for various shows. This position involves pre-planning electrical needs, ensuring accurate execution of services on-site, and assisting exhibitors with their electrical billing inquiries post-show. The coordinator will work both in the office and on-site, adapting to the dynamic environment of trade shows.

Responsibilities

  • Proactive contact to exhibitors to receive electrical orders.
  • Follow-up contact with exhibitors to clarify orders.
  • Transfer electrical labor orders to power floor plan.
  • Process electrical orders and generate labor tickets for electrical types of labor.
  • Review and audit electrical orders against floor plans ensuring their accuracy.
  • Assist exhibitors at show site with any new orders or changes to existing orders.
  • Organize electrical orders to ensure correct dispatching at show site.
  • Effectively dispatch electrical labor at show site.
  • Ensure proper work documentation and electrical billing accuracy.
  • Data entry and audit of electrical labor produced at show site.
  • Prioritize tasks & responsibilities to meet deadlines and complete highest priorities first.
  • Keep Managers and Team Managers up to date on all issues.
  • Perform all duties with the utmost integrity avoiding any conflict of interest between GES and any other entities.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

  • Valid Driver's License
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Demonstrate leadership ability
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Proven verbal and written communication skills
  • Detail-oriented
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple projects
  • Ability to work nights, weekends, and possible holidays
  • Must be able to work flexible schedule work hours, shifts or days worked will vary due to show schedules.

Nice-to-haves

  • College graduate preferred
  • Knowledge of Tradeshow industry, preferred but not mandatory
