The Operations Coordinator for Environmental Services plays a crucial role in providing clerical, administrative, and operational support to the Environmental Services Director and the department leadership team. This includes conducting customer service interviews and recovery efforts within clinical spaces. The Operations Coordinator will also be tasked with promoting excellence in professional appearance, communication, and customer service. Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Publisher, is necessary for creating presentations and managing database entries. The role involves coordinating and facilitating meetings and events, supporting department programs, conducting candidate interviews, and maintaining compliance with HIPAA standards. Effective communication with all stakeholders, including patients, families, and hospital employees, is essential to keep the leadership team informed of any issues that arise.
