About the position

As an Operations Coordinator I at Ryder, you will play a crucial role in managing relationships with 4th party Network Carriers to ensure compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), enhance delivery performance, and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction. This position is essential for the smooth operation of our Supply Chain Solutions division, where you will be responsible for various administrative tasks that support logistics operations. You will be working in a dynamic environment that requires attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include printing delivery tickets for inbound trucks and ensuring they are faxed to Network Carriers. You will also be tasked with researching and updating orders on the Restoration Hardware's “Ready to be Scheduled” (RTBS) report, collaborating with Network Carriers to schedule these orders efficiently. Additionally, you will process Return Authorizations (RAs) and manage the Open RA report on a monthly basis, ensuring that all necessary documentation is handled promptly. In this role, you will need to research orders that are over 50 days old, either by obtaining Proof of Delivery (POD) from Network Carriers or conducting follow-up surveys with customers to confirm delivery. You will also respond to pending invoice questions from the Network Carrier Invoicing Team and validate complete dates in our iDirect system for orders with scheduled dates. As a backup for the Operations Supervisor, you will assist in building return trucks and manage communications via phone and email. Responsibilities

  • Manage 4th party relationships with Network Carriers to ensure SOP compliance and delivery performance.
  • Print delivery tickets for inbound trucks and fax them to Network Carriers.
  • Research and update orders on Restoration Hardware's 'Ready to be Scheduled' (RTBS) report; work with Network Carriers to get orders scheduled.
  • Process Return Authorizations (RAs), RA Clarifications, Pending RAs, Not in iDirect RAs, etc. for all locations.
  • Manage the Open RA report on a monthly basis.
  • Research orders on the 'Over 50' report and update the system for invoicing clients.
  • Respond to pending invoice questions from the Network Carrier Invoicing Team.
  • Validate and update complete dates in iDirect for orders that have a scheduled date.
  • Assist Operations Supervisor with building return trucks.
  • Serve as backup for Operations Supervisor's phone and email.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • One (1) year or more experience in a related field (1-2 years of experience).
  • Operations background in Logistics and/or Transportation.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to understand and follow work procedures.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to build professional relationships.
  • Practical learning skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office tools.
