About the position

AtkinsRéalis is seeking an Operations Coordinator II to provide administrative and operational support to the manager of a large technical operating unit. This role involves acting as an extension of the manager's authority in administrative matters, compiling and analyzing operational data, developing preliminary budgets, and ensuring effective communication across the organization. The Operations Coordinator will play a proactive role in monitoring project progress, managing budgets, and preparing reports and presentations for clients and internal stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative and operations support to the manager of a large technical operating unit.
  • Act as an extension of the manager's authority in administrative matters.
  • Compile, analyze, and present operational data.
  • Develop preliminary budgets and track projects and budgets.
  • Act as a liaison between the manager and clients/staff, ensuring effective information flow.
  • Monitor project progress and keep the manager informed with up-to-date reports and graphs.
  • Advise unit managers on budget items and marketing expenditures.
  • Coordinate operations within the organization unit to ensure consistency with policies and procedures.
  • Assist the manager with personnel actions and project control reports.
  • Develop charts and graphs based on financial reports for meetings and presentations.

Requirements

  • Strong administrative and organizational skills.
  • Experience in budget development and project tracking.
  • Ability to analyze operational data and prepare reports.
  • Excellent communication skills for liaising with clients and staff.
  • Proficiency in creating presentations and financial charts.
