About the position

As an Operations Coordinator at the Food Bank for Larimer County, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient flow of products through effective inventory management. This position involves overseeing the receipt, storage, and movement of products while maintaining accurate inventory data. You will support the supply chain's success and regulatory compliance, contribute to facility upkeep, and engage in community initiatives, all while enhancing your professional and personal growth.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate item codes and create new item cards for inventory in CERES.
  • Correct inventory discrepancies and execute receipt and distribution transactions.
  • Count physical products and create monthly cycle counts, logging inventory counts and actions taken.
  • Provide support for inventory needs at all locations and receive incoming loads from various donors.
  • Inspect warehouse equipment and complete inspection logs for general wear and tear to ensure safety.
  • Assist operations team members by moving and tracking products and assist drivers with invoicing large donations.
  • Load agency orders requiring forklift operations and maximize facility space by breaking down pallets and scheduling pickups.
  • Put away government, donated, and purchased products following FIFO/FEFO, ensuring warehouse safety.
  • Assist with event preparations, including charging equipment and staging items, while monitoring food safety.
  • Maintain adherence to FBLC safety, OSHA, and food safety standards.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience working in a warehouse setting.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and online technologies, with preferred experience in Microsoft Dynamics Navision.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Bilingual in Spanish is preferred for a differential pay of $0.75 per hour.
  • Experience with inventory management systems.
