About the position

The Operations Coordinator - National Accounts at AFA Protective Systems is responsible for supporting the daily operations of the National Accounts service team. This role involves scheduling, monitoring service requests, and providing technical support to ensure efficient service delivery to National Account subscribers. The coordinator will work closely with management and branch personnel to facilitate communication and resolve issues related to service operations.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the daily identification, assignment, and scheduling of all National Account Service as directed by management.
  • Work collaboratively with the National Accounts Service Manager in the identification, assignment, and follow-through on all National Account service performed outside of Pavion/AFA's territories.
  • Continuously monitor, evaluate, follow up, and report on the status of service in progress.
  • Compile and distribute reports of Service and Central Station activity as appropriate.
  • Assist in the receipt and perform data entry of daily requests for service made by National Account subscribers.
  • Monitor and respond to delays in the completion of service requests placed by National Account subscribers.
  • Add, delete, or place Accounts in Test Status in the Central Station Monitoring System.
  • Perform panel modifications through the use of remote programming software.
  • Serve as a supplemental support liaison to Pavion/AFA Branch personnel.
  • Provide all aspects of system troubleshooting and technical support for designated service subcontractors and National Account subscribers.

Requirements

  • 1 year of experience in Alarm Industry Operations, including burglar alarm and fire alarm system program downloading.
  • Strong knowledge of Security and Fire systems, and/or knowledge of Card Access and CCTV systems.
  • Ability to work cooperatively with Branch Operators to meet multiple and changing business deadlines.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and superior customer service skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Capability to work independently and unsupervised.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Computer skills (Microsoft Office).

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in the area of Central Station data entry and service.

Benefits

  • Competitive salary ranging from $55,000 to $65,000 based on experience.
