About the position

The Operations Coordinator - Nights at Grey Eagle Distributors is responsible for overseeing the night loading process of trucks to ensure timely deliveries for the next day. This role involves supervising a team, coordinating loading activities, and handling administrative tasks within the Operations Department. The position requires strong leadership and organizational skills to manage multiple priorities effectively.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the nightly truck loading process performed by union and non-union employees.
• Coordinate loading of package and draught trucks for daily delivery.
• Check for loading errors.
• Ensure night loading team cleans up at the end of their shift.
• Handle all administrative reports for the Operations Department.
• Perform other duties as needed.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1-year administrative experience preferably in an operations environment.
• Ability to lead teams.
• Strong attendance record and ability to work nights and some holidays.
• Strong internal and external customer orientation.
• Strong problem-solving abilities.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Highly self-motivated and able to work additional hours as necessary.
• Highly organized with ability to manage priorities and coordinate multiple projects simultaneously.
• Proficiency in MS Office to include Word and Excel.
• Strong Math skills.
