About the position

Transdev is seeking Site Coordinators for their Autonomous Vehicle facility in San Francisco, CA. This role involves operating vehicles, transporting heavy equipment, and ensuring the safety and efficiency of vehicle operations. The position offers paid training and excellent benefits, making it suitable for individuals without prior experience.

Responsibilities

• Operate/Drive van/truck or other car five days a week
• Gather, lift, and transport heavy computer equipment of up to 50 pounds
• Install equipment and ensure it starts successfully
• Complete daily reports and documents
• Assist with simple vehicle adjustments and settings while cars are parked
• Set up cars for charging and maneuver cars in parking lot
• Disinfect cars, work stations and prepare sanitization kits
• Maintain Transdev's high standard of safety
• Communicate any uploading errors while focusing on high priority uploads
• Package and ship equipment needing repair
• Assist with asset inventory/checkin/checkout process
• Push shift efficiency (Fast Startup)
• Perform basic troubleshooting at shift startup
• Ensure startup and shift-end checklists are being followed
• Complete all other duties as assigned

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Minimum of 3 years of experience driving on public roads
• Proficiency with a laptop computer and GSuite apps
• Must be able to type at least 40 adjusted wpm
• Must have and maintain a driving record that meets state AVT regulations
• Ability to parallel park with minimal assistance preferred
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Must be self-motivated and demonstrate good judgment in fast-paced environments

Nice-to-haves

• Four-year college degree in a related field like industrial or applied sciences
• Additional experience driving on public roads
• Ability to adapt quickly to new technology and processes
