About the position

The position is responsible for the scheduling, assigning, managing, and monitoring of construction and service work within Entergy Texas, Inc. The incumbent will ensure the safe execution of distribution projects, providing technical support, oversight, and management updates for various projects. This role requires extensive knowledge of the distribution system, including the ability to prepare and carry out Energized Work Plans (EWP) and switching orders. The individual will collaborate with multiple departments, including Engineering and Vegetation, to ensure that all facilities are constructed and maintained according to company specifications and standards. In addition to project management, the incumbent will assume dispatching responsibilities during emergency and storm situations, ensuring timely service restoration to all customers. The role demands availability for call-outs and the ability to work in other areas as needed during emergencies. The position also involves reading and interpreting construction prints, working with both internal and external customers, and temporarily assuming supervisory duties in the absence of the supervisor. Daily monitoring of outages and reliability issues is also a key responsibility, ensuring that all work meets company standards and safety guidelines.

Responsibilities
