About the position

The Operations Coordinator at USPack Services LLC is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of delivery services by coordinating activities related to Independent Contractors (ICs) and managing logistics to meet customer requirements. This entry-level position involves monitoring routes, communicating with dispatch, and ensuring compliance with customer regulations, all while fostering a collaborative and inclusive work environment.

Responsibilities

• Monitor to ensure all routes are covered and IC check-in is complete.
• Create routes according to customer requirements.
• Ensure ICs provide the delivery services as accepted and communicate changes to dispatch and ICs as needed.
• Monitor dispatch board to ensure customer requested delivery times are met.
• Communicate any delays or problems to the customer and dispatch department.
• Ensure ICs are providing services in the vehicle type requested by the customer.
• Assist ICs with issues they may encounter while under dispatch.
• Arrange for STAT coverage for customers as needed.
• Restructure routes as requested by the customer to ensure on-time execution.
• Complete daily service reports as required by the customer.
• Create and process administrative reports and paperwork as directed.
• Follow up with ICs to ensure their paperwork is up to date.
• Ensure ICs are in uniform with visible ID badges as required by customers.

Requirements

• Basic MS Office Programs (Outlook, Excel, and Word) experience required.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Must maintain a valid driver's license and have a clean, functional vehicle.
• Ability to develop and maintain meaningful business relationships with customers.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on occasion.
• Ability to work overtime as necessary.

Nice-to-haves

• Six Sigma Green Belt Certification preferred.
• College Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
