About the position

The Operations Coordinator at USPack Services LLC is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of delivery services for clients. This entry-level position involves coordinating routes, monitoring Independent Contractors (ICs), and ensuring compliance with customer requirements. The role requires effective communication and problem-solving skills to address any issues that arise during the delivery process.

Responsibilities

• Monitor to ensure all routes are covered and IC check-in is complete.
• Create routes according to customer requirements.
• Ensure ICs provide the delivery services as accepted and communicate changes as needed.
• Monitor dispatch board to ensure customer requested delivery times are met.
• Communicate any delays or problems to the customer and dispatch department.
• Ensure ICs are providing services in the vehicle type requested by the customer.
• Assist ICs with issues they may encounter while under dispatch.
• Arrange for STAT coverage for customers as needed.
• Restructure routes as requested by the customer to ensure on-time execution.
• Complete daily service reports as required by the customer.
• Create and process administrative reports and paperwork as directed.
• Follow up with ICs to ensure their paperwork is up to date.
• Ensure ICs are in uniform with visible ID badge as required by customers.

Requirements

• Basic MS Office Programs (Outlook, Excel, and Word) experience required.
• Proactive and resourceful with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Independent judgment required to plan, prioritize, and organize competing tasks or demands.
• Must maintain a valid driver's license and a clean, functional vehicle.
• Ability to develop and maintain meaningful business relationships with customers.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on occasion.
• Ability to work overtime as necessary.
• High School Diploma or GED required, with a college degree preferred.
