About the position

This entry-level position at USPack involves overall coordination to ensure that all company goals are met for specific operations and clients. The role focuses on managing Independent Contractors (ICs) who provide delivery services, ensuring timely and compliant operations while maintaining effective communication with customers and dispatch departments.

Responsibilities

• Monitor to ensure all routes are covered and IC check-in is complete.
• Create routes according to customer requirements.
• Ensure ICs provide the delivery services as accepted and communicate changes as needed.
• Monitor dispatch board to ensure customer requested delivery times are met.
• Communicate any delays or problems to the customer and dispatch department.
• Ensure ICs are providing services in the vehicle type requested by the customer.
• Ensure compliance with IC log in process and EC-mobile.
• Assist ICs with issues they may encounter while under dispatch.
• Assist in arranging for STAT coverage for customers as needed.
• Restructure routes as requested by the customer to ensure on-time execution.
• Complete daily service reports as required by the customer.
• Create and process administrative reports and paperwork as directed.
• Follow up with ICs to ensure their paperwork is up to date.
• Ensure ICs are in uniform with visible ID badge as required by customers.

Requirements

• Basic MS Office Programs (Outlook, Excel, and Word) experience required.
• Proactive and resourceful with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Independent judgment required to plan, prioritize, and organize competing tasks or demands.
• Must maintain a valid driver's license and clean, functional vehicle.
• Ability to develop and maintain meaningful business relationships with customers.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on occasion.
• Ability to work overtime as necessary.
• College Degree or a High School Diploma with equivalent combination of education and experience.
